Safety Transformers: It is a type of transformer which guarantees the isolation between circuits for very low voltage circuits, becoming indicated for class II Applications. Under any circumstances, 50V mustn't be exceeding in secondary windings.

Ambient Temperature (ta): Denotes the air temperature measured near the transformer and under equipment usage conditions. The temperature indicated on the transformer must not exceed 40oC or 70oC due to keep the functional safety parameters.
Thermal class: Indicates the highest temperature that any material in the transformer can reach when working. Is is shown in the letter printed after the ambient temperature according the IEC60216 regulation, (E-120oC) (B-130oC) (F-155oC) (H-180oC).
Nominal Power: The power indicated in the catalogue, belongs to the secondary supplied by the transformer, when the primary gets the nominal tension under the indicated temperature conditions, for examples: (3,2VA ta40/B). For dual secondary this power corresponds to the sum of the two windings. If the secondary of the transformer is connected to a bridge rectifier to convert to D.C. Voltage, you must chose a transformer with a current 1,4 times higher from the continuous current need in the charge.
Primary Voltage: It is the voltage to be applied to the transformer, due to achieve the secondary power indicated for the secondary working conditions.
Nominal Secondary Voltage: It is the voltage supplied by the transformer to the secondary at the indicated current, and the primary is at it¡¯s nominal value.
Protections: 
Short circuit proof (CC): Our range of transformers is short circuit proof to power 3,2VA. It is indicated with the safety transformer symbol showing the two inferior vertical lines assembled. The rest of them requires external protection, and they can be optionally manufactured with thermal fuse or integrated PTC.
External protection: The suggested fuse type for the transformer protection is indicated on the body of the transformer. Even though it is in primary or secondary, the location and type of protection to be used is under the designer's responsibility.
Fuses Type: Depending on the protection fuse location, in the primary or secondary winding, the correct fuse type must be chosen:
Type T - Time-lag in the primary circuit
Type F - Fast in the secondary circuit.
Heating information: It is the difference between the hottest part inside the transformer (winding) in stable working conditions and the ambient temperature. It can be calculated with the measurement of the winding wire resistance change. You can find different methods and formulas to be calculated.
Adapted transformers from the standard series: Any other transformer which requires special power features between our maximum and minimum values range, can be manufactured according customer¡¯s technical specifications. All the approvals certificates from the standard series as well as the product safety and reliability will be kept.
Special transformers: Any other type of transformer with special characteristics can be designed in collaboration with the customer due to get the best results in their applications and obtain reliable and safety products.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCESS OF IMPREGNATION AND DRYING

Product type: Encapsulated transformer

Impregnation and dried process is in our company strictly controlled as the basic point in our products quality, avoiding possible problems such as:

Adherence of the resin is absent with the plastic
Air bubbles inside the component
Fissures
Penetration of the resin is absent

Impregnation process on encapsulated transformers
 
Preparation of the components in the machine vats of mixture
Degassing of the resin and the flexibilizer and colouring in the vats of mixture during 4horas to a pressure of 1mbar. This process extracts the air that contains the mixture inside the vat, mixing sayings components during the time specified previously, assuring the perfect condition for the later process.
Degassing of the hardener for 4hours to a pressure of 1mbar, the same process as procedure previously described
Warm-up of the component
Process of warm-up of the component and plastic before resin for 3 hours to 75o. This process will improve the penetration of the resin and it prevents that in the process of polymerization there are big differences of temperature, avoiding breaks in the plastic and ensuring the adherence of the resin with the plastic.
Impregnation
Temperature of the mixture between 50-60o
Emptiness of the cabin of impregnation
This is the process of filling of the component with the mixture of already prepared resin, the temperature of the mixture avoids contractions and the process of emptiness extracts all the air of cabin ensuring that do not remain hollow of air inside the piece, since on having treated itself about an electrical component with high tensions air residues cannot stay inside the resin, this process assures COMPLETELY that do not produce air bubbles.
Process of drying
This process will dry the resin up to turning it in occurred. Once the process is completed the component will be totally protected and will assures its reliability.
Process of staggered dried:
1st stage - 2.5 hours of duration to 80o
2nd stage - 4.5 hours of duration to 95o
Process of cooling
Once finished the process of drying the components were left to cool at environment temperature before going on to the electrical controls of quality of 100 %
